One of the most eminent photographers of our time, Annie Leibovitz has captured celebrities, heads of state and royalty including Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, the Obama family, and Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Her captivating and thoughtfully provocative artistry will be in the spotlight this month at Hauser & Wirth Hong Kong, which presents a month-long exhibition featuring photographic prints handpicked by the artist from her early years, covering landscape, photojournalism and interior tableaux. This early work is seen alongside iconic fashion images she has taken over the past two decades, including that of Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Natalia Vodianova.

NALINI MALANI: VISION IN MOTION

The debut presentation in M+’s The Studio, one of the museum’s most striking and signature venues, recently lifted the curtain by bringing together three major works of world-renowned cross-disciplinary artist Nalini Malani, who’s known for her reverse paintings, immersive installations and experiential video art. As with much of the artist’s oeuvre, Utopia (1969–1976), Remembering Mad Meg (2007–2019) and Can You Hear Me (2018–2020) capture her personal trauma as a refugee and her reflections on social injustice.
