The notorious Hong Kong heat has finally succumbed to the cool temperatures of fall, and as the weather gets cooler and crisper, you can expect to see varying autumn shades making a comeback around the city.

We know the huge outpouring of new autumn beauty products can be a lot to navigate, so we have rounded up five must-haves this season—covering everything from lip oil to luminizer.

NATASHA MOOR COSMETICS MOLTEN MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK

Shade: Alter Ego

A deep, dark shade of purple, the Molten Matte lipstick in shade Alter Ego dries matte and stays on for up to 12 hours. It is packed with vitamin E to help keep your lips hydrated for longer, and is hyper-pigmented to ensure long-lasting colour—which can be hard to find when it comes to dark lipstick shades.

Created by Hong Kong-based makeup artist Natasha Moor, Natasha Moor Cosmetics has grown exponentially since its founding in 2017—you can now find her products in Sephora and Macy’s. Moor describes this lipstick as “your dream BFF” and says that when you wear this shade you’ll feel fearless, courageous and bold. For optimal usage, Moor suggests exfoliating your lips before applying the liquid lipstick, and for extra moisture apply some lip oil after your lipstick has dried.

NATASHA DENONA RETRO EYESHADOW PALETTE

Featuring 15 burgundy and mauve shades, the Natasha Denona Retro Eyeshadow Palette will quickly become your go-to palette for every makeup look this fall. The highly-pigmented shades vary from lilac and light rose to metallic pink and sparkling taupe—providing enough variation in one palette for everything from a gentle day look to a smoky glam beat.

All the shades were hand designed by world renowned makeup artist Natasha Denona, who has over 20 years experience in the makeup industry and has worked with faces of Hollywood’s A-List, including Gal Gadot and Bar Refaeli. Her products are formulated in Italy and are cruelty free and paraben free.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY EASY LIP MIRACLE DUO

Charlotte Tilbury’s Easy Lip Miracle Duo has arrived just in time to spare us the dry lips that tend to come with the chilly fall season. The two-step routine consists of a Magic Lip Scrub and a Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir, both working together to boost volume, reduce fine lines and hydrate your lips.

The lip scrub is infused with natural sugar crystals, jojoba oil, shea butter and vitamin E to remove dead skin cells, exfoliate and prime your lips—this will also help to lengthen the wear of your lipsticks. The lip oil is a serum-in-oil that makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury refers to as a “lip conditioner by day, lip mask at night”. The oil is crystal-infused, enriched with resurrection leaf, plant adaptogen extracts and hyaluronic acid.

Shade: Nuit 1947

Dior Vernis in shade Nuit 1947 is a rich wine coloured nail polish that’s perfect match for cozy fall weather. Described as a “cocktail of shine and sparkle”, the polish has pearly particles that work to enhance light reflection to give you both pigmented colour and a lacquered shine.

It is also enriched with organic silicon to strengthen the nail surface and help ensure a long-lasting bond between the enamel and nail. It is formulated without toluene, formaldehyde, phthalates or camphor.

This golden liquid luminizer by Rare Beauty will give you an instant dewy glow, keeping your skin looking bright and nourished all day. The weightless formula is made from a botanical blend of lotus, gardenia and white water lily, and only a couple of dabs are needed to last all day without fading or settling into fine lines.
