Well-known for its eccentric indoor spin classes, XYZ is now offering a more well-rounded fitness and wellbeing destination in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong’s boutique wellness studio, XYZ, has reopened its new location in the heart of Central. Spanning a total of 9,439 square feet and on the 12th floor of the China Building, the studio retains XYZ’s signature stone walls and spacious entrance but is divided into three unique rooms, offering a variety of crafted classes to explore physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
The rooms include The Mycelium, where people are encouraged to find connections and discover a sense of oneness, by taking part in a range of Bootcamp courses, yoga and other strength and movement classes.
XYZ’s signature Born to Move spin class will be hosted in The Cave along with a new addition Back to Mine, where participants can set their own pace based on the music and the rhythm of their bodies.

The third and final room is the latest addition to the wellness studio’s portfolio, The Cocoon, which focuses on feeling and breathing through the Mind of Movement class, a transcendental yoga flow allowing participants to connect the body to the mind.
Inspired by the Chinese principle of yin and yang, founder Belinda Koo is using her own soul-searching and self-exploration experience to create a new chapter for the boutique studio, focusing on creating wholeness and balancing yin with yang to achieve a harmony that radiates happiness.

“This new phase is a rebirth for XYZ, offering people a place to grow, explore and feel free while delving into these new concepts. We hope this new studio can teach and support those looking to understand and attain various levels of consciousness and ultimately contribute to a positive impact in the world,” says Belinda Koo.
After struggling with cardio-related health problems, Belinda Koo embarked on a mission to strengthen her own heart. This mission soon became the start of XYZ with the first official indoor cycling studio opening in 2014. Since then, the studio has gone from strength to strength and this new location is set to be its biggest and best one yet.
